I started this school because I saw children growing up with no future, not because they were not smart, but because no one gave them a chance. That is what we do here. We give them that chance.

Our Journey

A Story of Perseverance

1999

A Dream Takes Root

10 February 1999, Tahira Yasmeen moved to Village Kachi Deh 35 Jamrao after her marriage. Within days, she witnessed a heartbreaking reality: many children, especially girls, had no access to education. Determined to make a difference, she transformed a room in her own home into a classroom. On 1 March 1999, Al Fazal Public Elementary School officially opened its doors with 45 girls. It was not just the beginning of a school, but the beginning of hope for an entire community.

2000–2005

Winning the Community's Trust

The early years were filled with challenges. There were limited resources, financial difficulties, and many families were unsure about sending their daughters to school. Through continuous home visits, community engagement, and unwavering dedication, parents slowly began to trust the mission. Student enrollment steadily increased, proving that quality education could transform lives.

2006–2012

Growing Beyond Four Walls

As more families joined the mission, the school expanded beyond its first classroom. New learning spaces were added, more teachers became part of the journey, and children from surrounding villages also started enrolling. Education was no longer a dream. It was becoming a reality.

2013–2020

Building Futures

The school's first students began completing their education and pursuing successful careers. Some became teachers. Some entered professional education such as nursing. Each success story became proof that investing in education changes not just one child, but entire families.

2021–2026

Entering the Digital Era

To reach supporters beyond the village, the school embraced technology. A professional website, digital student records, online volunteer registration, and social media platforms were introduced. Today, people from across Pakistan and around the world can discover, support, and become part of the Al Fazal Public Elementary School mission.

Tahira Yasmeen

Founder & Principal — Al Fazal Public Elementary School

In 1999, Tahira Yasmeen began a journey that would transform educational opportunities for children in her community. After moving to the village, she witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by families who wanted their children to receive an education but had limited access to affordable schooling.

On 1 March 1999, she established Al Fazal Public Elementary School with a simple but powerful vision: to ensure that children, especially those from underserved families, could access quality education without financial barriers.

The school began in a small room of her own home with just 45 girls. With limited resources but unwavering determination, Tahira Yasmeen continued the mission of providing education and nurturing the potential of every child.

Over the years, Al Fazal Public Elementary School has grown from those humble beginnings into a school serving more than 500+ students.

For Tahira Yasmeen, education is more than academic learning. It is about building confidence, creating opportunities, and helping children develop the knowledge and values they need to shape a better future.
